Jade & Doug | Lincoln Park Conservatory Wedding
Jade & Doug had a Lincoln Park Conservatory wedding in Chicago! Their wedding was in late July with warm and bright tones. The bridal party wore yellow with pink, white & yellow bouquets. The overall feel was very warm! A lot of family members & friends came in from out of town bringing a lot of freshness and excitement to the day. Prior to the wedding ceremony, I took some photos of Jade & Doug together around the Lincoln Park Zoo, then we headed back to the conservatory to take some family photos against the campus that overlooks some of Chicago’s iconic buildings & skyline.
It was truly a pleasure being part a of Jade & Dougs Lincoln Park Conservatory wedding! Walking around the different rooms and seeing all the different plants is always a treat & it was especially exciting seeing the space transform into a wedding ceremony & reception area. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Below are some more photos from their Lincoln Park Conservatory wedding so you can share some of the experience too.
Violinists began playing as guests started making their way into the conservatory. There was quite a bit of rain, and since the conservatory is an older historic building there was a lot of leaking internally. We waited for the rain to quell so that there would be a dry ceremony. Guests enjoyed light refreshments & cocktails and chatted. I took candid shots of the guests hiding beneath yellow umbrellas,, everyone talked as if there was no rain at all & enjoyed the company of everyone surrounding them. Wait staff began heading to the ceremony space to begin drying off tables & set up decor, the room looked stunning dressed up in yellow roses and vintage styled table numbers.
